In Kazakhstan, this is already the fourth base of the low-cost airline.
FlyArystan has announced the opening of a new air base in Aktobe, according to the press service of the low-cost airline.
"FlyArystan will be located in another regional city of Kazakhstan - in Aktobe, from the second quarter of 2020. This is the first base in Western Kazakhstan, which would become the fourth FlyArystan air base after Almaty, Nur-Sultan and Karaganda", the company reported.
Peter Foster, President and CEO of Air Astana, noted that the base opening would have a positive effect on the social-economic region’s growth and would attract more businessmen and tourists. The new Aktobe air base will be created about 120 new workplaces.
Ondasyn Urazalin, Akim of Aktobe region, called the Aktobe international airport extremely attractive, as the region borders on two neighboring countries, as well as with six regions of Kazakhstan. This is a fundamental factor in promoting of local tourism.
"Last year, we managed to attract about 3 billion tenge of investments for development of tourism projects in the Aktobe region, this year this figure has increased by 300%. Therefore, we have high expectations for the wide route network and affordable FlyArystan tariffs and look forward to bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation" - said the head of the Aktobe region.
