Sigma Airlines has registered the first Boeing 747 aircraft in Kazakhstan

Sigma Airlines, Kazakhstan's private cargo airline, has added a Boeing 747-222B (SF) wide-body cargo aircraft to its fleet. In December 2019, this aircraft was registered in the republican registry of civilian aircrafts, according to "Aviation Administration of Kazakhstan" JSC (AAK).
The regulator has reported, the Sigma B-747 was the first aircraft of this type for Kazakh civil aviation.
Sigma Airlines received the B-747 aircraft (released in 1987; serial number 23737), previously flying under registration number N794CK in Kalitta Air, the American cargo airline.
In Kazakhstan, according to unconfirmed reports, this aircraft has received the local registration number UP-B4702. According to AAK, the aircraft is expected to be based in southern Kazakhstan, at Shymkent airport.
