Happy Aeronautical Information Services Day!

Created on 15.05.2020 15:09

On May 15, 1953,  ICAO Council for the first time has adopted Standards and Recommended Practices for Aeronautical Information Services. Since then, on this day, the global aviation community celebrates World Aeronautical Information Service (AIS) Day.

The Aeronautical Information Service is a basic aviation service which aimed to provide the information needed for ensuring the flight safety, regularity and effectiveness.

In Kazakhstan, the AIS is a structural subdivision of the RSE “Kazaeronavigatsia”. The service develops flight schemes, aerodrome maps, produces NOTAMs and maintains an e-AIP electronic collection. The Service participates in all projects to develop the air navigation of Kazakhstan.

Congratulations on your professional holiday, colleagues!
