Today, the whole country is grieving for Kazakhstan citizens, who had become victims of the coronavirus pandemic, according to Khabar 24.

July 13, by decision of the President - National Mourning Day. Throughout country and diplomatic missions have been lowered state flags at midnight. On a day of mourning, entertainment events are canceled and entertainment programs will not be shown on national television channels. Today, memorial prayers will be read in mosques. Worships and memorial services will be held in churches. Since independence, national mourning in Kazakhstan has been declared nine times.

On National Mourning Day, in memory of the Kazakhstan citizens who had become victims of the coronavirus pandemic, a minute of silence will be announced across the country at 12:00 capital time.
